Media Coverage
Radio and local print advertising begins in May to attract our winter ski visitors to plan ahead for their next visit to Mt Ruapehu.
In 2009 Carrot Carnival is expanding its media presence.
We anticipate significant coverage again in local and national media throughout New Zealand including print, radio and online.
We will be inviting participation from television channels
focussing on the fun family atmosphere and the adventure tourism theme. Over the past years both Television One and Maori TV have attended Carrot Carnival and provided coverage before and during the event.
Children's programmes, cooking, event, rural lifestyle and travel programmes are a focus for Carrot Carnival promotion.
Web site
The Carrot Carnival web site is one of the key components in promoting our event and your business. Web site links to sponsors, community and industry are offered to all sponsors.
We have regular communications from people nationally and
internationally about Carrot Carnival and look forward to offering education and promotional opportunities as part of the Carrot Carnival web site.
Advertising for your business starts as soon as a competition is sponsored. We have seven local schools regularly participating in the competitions as well as entertainment on stage during Carnival Day.
Carrot Carnival organisers get the staff and students involved very early on in the year, promoting and offering support with tutorials and workshops to help entrants in Wearable Arts, Float
Parade and Art Competitions.
Your business logo will be on all promotional material for print advertising, posters and radio advertising of the competition for
months leading up to carnival day.
